Wanding China is an English travel media company, concentrating on exploring destinations in China. We focus on finding interesting locations and understanding the traditions and culture through local voices.
We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated young native English writers to join our team to explore China and write about tourist destinations and their local voices.
Part-time intern writers will be required to go on short assignments in and around Beijing, in addition to having the opportunity to embark on longer trips to destinations all over China. Writers can also submit their travel stories to us.
Candidates are required to be enthusiastic and aspiring writers. Their past experience should include:
- Excellent English writing skills
- Excellent reporting skills with an addition to detail and ability to contuct interviews with locals
- Experience in maintaining and creating content for a blog or website
- The ability to research and pitch new destinations and stories
- Basic Chinese language (proficiency in Mandarin speaking, reading and writing will be a plus)
